Angle Bush, founder of Black Women in Artificial Intelligence (BWIAI), started her AI journey in 2019 with the idea to build a robot named Usher to bring her hot chocolate. Realizing the lack of diverse representation in AI, BWIAI was born to reshape the community by empowering Black women in the field.
BWIAI now has members from five continents and collaborates with industry leaders, offering hands-on learning experiences and a career assessment agent to explore AI career paths. Bush emphasizes the impact of AI on every industry, highlighting the importance of removing barriers to foster innovation.
