Andrenam, a startup utilizing AI to analyze sonar data, raised $10 million in a seed round led by First Round Capital, closing in just 36 hours. Co-founded in 2024 by former SpaceX and Qualia engineers, Andrenam aims to secure the oceans with its sonar mesh technology, integrating a machine-learning-powered software.
The company plans to expand its team from eight to 16 members, incorporating engineers from SpaceX, Palantir, Anduril, and Saronic to accelerate software development. First Round Capital partner Meka Asonye commended Andrenam’s technology, already being deployed off the coast of California.
