Black Cat Syndicate Expands Paulsens Gold Project with New Tenements, Increasing Holdings and Potential

Australian gold miner Black Cat Syndicate has expanded its Paulsens gold project tenure by 460km² to 3,650km² through acquisitions and tenement pegging. This includes the Big Sarah prospect within the Paulsens gold operation, increasing the company’s holdings to 2,722km² in key strategic areas with high potential for gold.

The expansion includes acquiring the Cheela and Silent Sisters tenements and pegging the New Morning prospect. Managing director Gareth Solly expressed excitement for the growth of the Big Sarah area, stating the addition of three new tenements will enhance the company’s prospectivity.

The Cheela tenement will be acquired from Cazaly Resources for A$200,000, containing the New Dawn prospect with significant gold-in-soil anomalies. The Silent Sisters tenement, known for historical lead and silver production, will be acquired from Deep 8 Mining for A$170,000.

Black Cat Syndicate has also pegged the New Morning prospect, adjacent to Cheela’s copper anomaly, with a history of gold-in-soil geochemical anomalies. The company is finalising acquisitions subject to standard approvals and third-party agreements.

Reconnaissance sampling at the Big Sarah prospect revealed a 4km-long zone of gold-bearing quartz veining. Black Cat is planning drill programs for the September 2025 quarter, targeting extensive vein corridors identified through sampling and historical data.
