Nvidia’s market capitalization hits $4 trillion, a historic first for any publicly traded company. The chipmaker’s shares surge to a record high of $164, driven by strong demand for AI technologies, solidifying its position as a top provider in the industry.

Since hitting $1 trillion valuation in June 2023, Nvidia’s market value has more than tripled, surpassing tech giants like Apple and Microsoft. It now represents 7.3% of the S&P 500 index, making it the largest single component compared to Apple and Microsoft.
