Ashland Inc. announced that Karl Bostaph, senior vice president of operations, will retire on October 1, 2025. Bostaph joined Hercules in 1990 and held various roles within Ashland since its acquisition in 2008. Wayne Muil, global director of operations, specialty additives, will succeed Bostaph. Muil brings over 25 years of experience in the chemical industry, leading complex manufacturing and supply chain organizations. Muil will oversee Ashland’s global production facilities and drive operational excellence across the Americas, Europe, and Asia Pacific. CEO Guillermo Novo expressed gratitude to Bostaph and confidence in a smooth transition under Muil’s leadership.
