The Switzerland market closed modestly higher on Friday, with the SMI gaining 0.18% to close at 11,982.91. Sonova, Julius Baer, and Sandoz Group were among the top gainers, while Schindler PS and Richemont ended lower. Despite a 7.5% rise in first-half net profit, Schindler PS saw a decline in revenue due to currency headwinds. For the full year, the group expects low single-digit revenue growth in local currencies. Other companies like Novartis, VAT Group, and Logitech International also saw losses ranging from 0.5 to 1.1%.
