The Compleat Food Group has acquired Freshpak, a sandwich-filling manufacturer, adding new capabilities in egg processing. Freshpak, with £93m in revenues in 2024, supplies major UK supermarkets and the foodservice sector. This strategic move aims to make Compleat the UK’s top chilled food producer. CEO Nick Field sees Freshpak’s products as a perfect complement to their portfolio, leading to increased value and category growth. The acquisition is expected to boost Compleat’s annual turnover to over £1.3bn and increase its workforce to 6,000 employees. Compleat Food Group has recently acquired The Real Yorkshire Pudding Co., SK Foods, Zorba Foods, and Harvey & Brockless.
