Wyndham Hotels & Resorts partners with Cygnett Hotels & Resorts to expand in South Asia. Over 60 new hotels to be added in India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Nepal in the next decade. Aim is to tap into India’s growing travel sector driven by infrastructure investments and tourism. Wyndham to introduce La Quinta and Registry Collection Hotels brands in the region. Partnership includes an exclusive ten-year agreement for La Quinta brand and a non-exclusive ten-year agreement for Registry Collection Hotels. The first openings expected by end of next year. Cygnett also launching luxury five-star brand Anamore co-branded with Registry Collection Hotels. The move aligns with rising demand for high-quality hotel experiences in the region. Wyndham currently has over 70 hotels in the South Asian region, including brands like Ramada by Wyndham and Wyndham Garden. The recent opening of Wyndham Garden Sonipat Murthal in India underscores the company’s growth strategy in the region.
