iPhone 16 Pro users report touchscreen issues, possibly due to iOS 18 sensitivity

Several Apple users have reported touchscreen issues on various models, including the iPhone 16 Pro, with complaints of unresponsiveness during interactions like scrolling and missed presses on the virtual keyboard.

Users also experienced similar issues near the Camera Control and on the right-hand side of the screen, with accidental touches causing the screen to become unresponsive except for the home bar.

The problem seems to be caused by iOS 18’s overly sensitive touchpad and iPhone 16 Pro’s thin screen bezels, with reports suggesting it is a software-related issue that only occurs when devices are unlocked and in use.
