Boeing’s 32,000 machinists are required to return to work after approving a new contract with 38% pay raises over four years, ending a seven-week strike that halted most aircraft production. The company delivered 14 jetliners in October, the fewest since the pandemic, putting it behind Airbus in deliveries this year. Production resumes for 737 Max, 767, and 777 programs in Washington and Oregon. Despite the strike, Boeing sold 63 aircraft in October. CEO stresses the importance of a smooth return to production.
