China Shares May See Continued Strength On Thursday

The China stock market has been fluctuating for the past week but closed under 2,915 points. Partly optimistic European and U.S. markets have traders hopeful for end-of-year gain. Wednesday, the SCI saw modest gains with mixed growth in property and up-creep in finance and resources. Leading stocks were up, as were major U.S. financial bodies. This is partly due to significant decrease in treasury yields which is renewing interest in investment on Wall Street. Obstacles in the Suez Canal have been resolved, spurring oil prices to drop $1.46 or 1.9 percent to $74.11 a barrel.
