China’s central bank has confirmed that Alipay has no controller after Ant Group’s business overhaul. Jack Ma has relinquished control of the fintech giant and most of his voting rights. Ant Group has completed its corporate governance optimization, but it will not impact daily operations. No major changes are expected for the popular payment app.
