From Fortune: Man suspected of stealing Banksy artwork arrested in London, police say
From Fortune:
London police arrested a man in his 20s on suspicion of theft and criminal damage after he was seen stealing an artwork by street artist Banksy. The artwork, a stop sign adorned with three military drones, was taken less than an hour after Banksy posted a photo of it on his Instagram page. Video footage shows the man using bolt cutters to remove the sign from a street corner in south London. A witness described a small crowd standing around watching in awe as the scene unfolded, and the local council leader called for the piece to be returned. The stop sign was replaced following the incident. Many of Banksy’s followers interpreted the work as a call for a cease-fire in the Gaza Strip.
