From Fortune:
OpenAI CEO Sam Altman was ousted and quickly reinstated as CEO amidst a boardroom drama last month. The move blindsided Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella, whose company has invested billions into OpenAI. After a tumultuous period, Altman was reinstated, and the board was revamped. In a blog post, Altman dispensed some standard advice and some that seemed to refer to the recent chaos, which may be part of his processing of the ordeal. In particular, his advice to fight bureaucracy and communicate clearly and concisely may have been referencing the events at OpenAI. Colleagues and investors rallied around Altman after his firing, and fellow cofounder Greg Brockman resigned in protest. OpenAI colleagues rallied around the idea that “OpenAI is nothing without its people.” Altman’s advice to get back up and keep going mirrors his own experience, as does the advice to fight bureaucracy and communicate clearly.
