Here’s what’s new on Amazon’s Prime Video and Freevee in January 2024

Amazon’s Prime Video has a star-studded lineup for January 2024, including the Nicole Kidman-led miniseries, “Expats” and the action/comedy movie, “Role Play” starring Kaley Cuoco and David Oyelowo. Subscribers should note that Prime Video will start showing ads on its shows and movies starting Jan. 29, and it’ll cost an additional $2.99 a month to avoid commercials. A huge slate of movies is also coming to Prime Video and Freevee, Amazon’s free, ad-supported service, in January 2024.

Some of the notable additions include “Foe”, starring Saoirse Ronan and Paul Mescal as well as “Transformers: Rise of the Beasts”. Additionally, a large list of iconic movies from previous years will also be available from Jan.1, 2024. On Prime Video, movies like 1984, Forrest Gump, Mission: Impossible, and Pulp Fiction are set to join the streaming service. If you’re using Freevee, notable inclusions include “A Dog’s Journey”, “Captain Phillips”, and “The Ugly Truth”.
