Australia stocks rose at close; S&P/ASX 200 up 0.79% to hit new 52-week high. Top performers were Zip Co., St Barbara, and Nuix Ltd, while worst performers were Pointsbet Holdings, Appen Ltd, and Tabcorp Holdings. Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones by 746 to 424. Nuix Ltd also rose to a 52-week high. The VIX was up 9.76% to 10.76. Gold futures were up 0.35% to $2,077.10, and crude oil for delivery in February fell 0.20% to $75.42 a barrel. The AUD/USD was unchanged at 0.68 and the AUD/JPY rose 0.22% to 97.38. The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.03% at 101.14.
