Investing.com: Shipping giant Maersk prepares to resume operations in Red Sea By Reuters

From Investing.com:

Maersk is preparing to resume shipping operations in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden after pausing due to attacks against its ships. The United States has deployed a military operation to protect commerce in the area, and Maersk has received confirmation of the deployment of the Operation Prosperity Guardian initiative. The company is preparing to allow vessels to resume transit through the Red Sea and may resort to diverting ship traffic again depending on safety conditions. Maersk had previously rerouted ships around Africa via the Cape of Good Hope and imposed container surcharges to cover the extra costs associated with the longer journey. Other firms, including oil major BP, have also stopped transiting the Red Sea on safety concerns. Maersk will release more details in the coming days.
