LumiraDx Agrees To Sell Point-of-Care Tech Platform To Roche

LumiraDx Limited has announced the sale of certain companies related to its point-of-care technology to Roche. The administrators have entered into a definitive agreement for Roche to acquire these companies for a purchase price of $295 million and an additional payment of up to $55 million. The transaction is expected to close by mid-2024, pending certain conditions including antitrust and regulatory approvals. This move will significantly impact the point-of-care diagnostics platform business.
