Nasdaq: Alphabet (GOOGL) Boosts Google Slides With Duet AI Feature

Google, under Alphabet’s GOOGL stock, has launched Duet AI to Google Slides and Drawing in Google Workspace. This new feature allows users to remove image backgrounds in Slides and Drawings by right-clicking on the image after Crop, Replace, and Reset. This new feature is expected to gain solid traction across various enterprises and will help strengthen Google Workspace offerings. Google has made numerous efforts to enhance its Google Workspace services by integrating generative AI into the Workspace environment. The integration of Duet AI’s “Help me write” feature in Gmail for Android and iOS allows users to refine their messages. Google also rolled out a paid “Proofread” feature powered by AI in Google Docs. Additionally, Duet AI features have been introduced to Google Meet. Google Cloud reported revenues of $8.41 billion in the third quarter of 2023. The global generative AI market is expected to reach $191.8 billion by 2032. Alphabet has gained 56.8% on a year-to-date basis compared with industry growth of 56.3%. The company’s AI capabilities position it well to compete with Microsoft. Alphabet is expected to have strong growth prospects and strengthen its position in the global generative AI space. The company has been given a Zacks Rank #3 (Hold).
