In early trading on Tuesday, Intel shares rose by 2.4%, making it the best performing component of the Nasdaq 100 index for the day. Year to date, Intel has seen a gain of 85.9%.

Conversely, Comcast was the worst performing Nasdaq 100 component, with shares down by 0.9%. Despite this, Comcast has still seen a gain of 24.7% year to date.

Amgen and Atlassian were also making moves in trading, with Amgen down by 0.7% and Atlassian up by 2.3% for the day.
