From Nasdaq:



– The Taiwan stock market has climbed higher in three straight sessions, advancing more than 200 points along the way, now sitting just above the 17,750-point plateau and it’s expected to extend its gains.
– The TSE finished modestly higher on Tuesday following gains from the financial shares, technology stocks and cement companies.
– In the U.S., the Dow climbed 159.36 points, the NASDAQ added 81.60 points, and the S&P 500 rose 20.12 points, benefiting from optimism about interest rates and a surge by shares of Intel. Oil prices also surged amid escalating tensions in the Middle East.
