Ansys shares jumped 12% after reports of the company exploring options, including a possible sale. Rocket Lab USA surged 23% after winning a $515 million contract with an undisclosed US government customer. Italy’s financial police have escalated a tax claim against Facebook parent Meta to the European Commission’s VAT committee for evaluation. Meta shares eased 0.2%.
