Swiss financial watchdog wants to examine clawing back bankers’ bonuses By Reuters

Switzerland’s financial regulator, FINMA, is seeking stronger powers to hold bankers accountable, including the ability to claw back bonuses. This comes in the wake of the Credit Suisse collapse and sale to UBS. FINMA Chairwoman Marlene Amstad emphasized the need for a better legal basis for the regulator to intervene in the industry. The regulator also wants more control over remuneration models at banks.
