The company has since grown to over 7 million listings worldwide, with a market capitalization of $91 billion. This success hasn’t come without challenges, including navigating short-term rental regulations in various cities across the globe. However, Chesky remains committed to perfecting the core service of hosting and experiences, introducing new features in response to customer feedback. In a recent move, Airbnb donated $10 million to 120 nonprofits through the Airbnb Community Fund, selected by hosts rather than the company. The company also announced a partnership with Klarna to allow U.K. visitors to pay for their stays in installments.
