Barrick Gold Corporation has announced that its North Mara and Bulyanhulu gold mines in Tanzania have met their production guidance for 2023. These mines are part of a joint venture between Barrick and the Government of Tanzania, and they have been transformed into world-class, Tier One level gold producers. Conversion drilling has replenished reserves at both mines, and potential opportunities for further underground operations and increased production are being explored. Barrick’s investment in the Tanzanian economy to date totals more than $3.4 billion.
