Investors in Grayscale Bitcoin Trust may end up paying higher fees compared to if they were to invest directly in Bitcoin, but there’s still potential for them to retain their money. Despite the higher cost, the trust provides easy access to Bitcoin and eliminates the need for investors to worry about security. It’s a trade-off that some may find worthwhile, as the trust currently holds over $13 billion in assets. So, while the fees may be higher, the trust still offers a convenient and secure way for investors to gain exposure to the world of cryptocurrency.
