The company is developing a sidechain to connect the EVM with Bitcoin assets using ICP, aiming to enhance DeFi operations and smart contract functionalities. Its testnet platform promises high-speed, low-cost transactions, processing over 1000 TPS.

Bitfinity’s technology includes Chain-Key feature to enhance security through ICP’s Threshold Relay consensus mechanism. The feature periodically refreshes key shares to provide added protection against security threats. The company aims to revolutionize the DeFi space and outpace current transaction speeds on the Ethereum network.
