BlackRock’s Q4 earnings call on Jan 12, 2024, discussed fourth quarter and full-year results, as well as the planned acquisition of Global Infrastructure Partners. Chairman Larry Fink highlighted the strategic rearchitecture of the organization and the acquisition, stating that they will propel BlackRock’s leadership in the fast-growing market for hard asset infrastructure. The combined platform will provide clients access to market-leading investments and operating expertise across infrastructure private markets. CFO Martin Small reviewed the financial performance and business results, highlighting a total of 289 billion of total net inflows and a 1% organic base fee growth in 2023.
