An Alaska Airlines Boeing 737 Max 9 made an emergency landing, leading to a $150m hit for the carrier. After the FAA grounded the planes, inspection instructions were approved, and Alaska expects to resume Max 9 flights soon. United Airlines also found loose bolts on its Max 9s during inspections. The grounding has led to a forecast of $3 to $5 in adjusted earnings per share for Alaska. Blood executives expressed frustration and anger with Boeing.
