Turo is a peer-to-peer car-sharing marketplace that lets car owners and enthusiasts rent their vehicles to others around the globe. Listings include everything from luxury sports cars to electric vehicles, SUVs, minivans, and more, providing an excellent way for car shoppers to test drive a vehicle for an extended period. Renting from Turo can be cheaper than larger car rental companies, and vehicle owners can make substantial earnings. Turo operates in 50 states but may not be available in every location. Turo is a legit and safe option for car owners and renters. Starting in 2023, most Turo hosts making over $600 yearly will receive a 1099-K tax form to file with the IRS.
