Ark Invest’s flagship Ark Innovation ETF had an outstanding 2023, soaring 68% and outpacing major U.S. financial indexes. The firm has 12.8% of its portfolio allocated to Tesla and Coinbase Global, with Tesla leading the market in battery electric vehicle sales and software and services. Coinbase is focused on international expansion and market share gains, earning revenue through transaction fees and interest income. Ark Invest believes the cryptocurrency market will be worth $20 trillion by 2030, but Wall Street is less bullish, predicting Coinbase’s revenue to grow at about 2% annually over the next five years.
