Donald Trump denied ability to give closing arguments in fraud case

Donald Trump will not make his own closing argument in his New York civil business fraud trial. Judge Arthur Engoron rescinded permission for the unusual plan. Growing trial costs could lead to Trump facing hundreds of millions of dollars in penalties and potentially losing his ability to do business in New York. The lawsuit is brought by New York Attorney General Letitia James. Trump testified in the case in November.
