In early trading on Friday, Boeing leads the Dow Jones Industrial Average components, with shares up 1.2%. However, year to date, Boeing has lost 4.9% of its value. On the other hand, Walgreens Boots Alliance is the worst performer of the day, with shares down 2.8% and a year to date loss of 9.7%.

Other notable Dow components making moves today include UnitedHealth Group, trading down 0.8%, and Microsoft, trading up 0.6% on the day.
