European Shares Likely To Open On Muted Note

Asian markets traded higher, and Japan’s Nikkei index jumped over 2 percent. Oil prices rose due to geopolitical tensions and declining crude inventories in the U.S. U.S. stocks ended mostly lower, with the Dow and S&P 500 easing 0.4 percent and 0.2 percent, respectively. European stocks fell after German industrial output and Eurozone unemployment.
