FTSE 100 Drifts Lower On US Rate Uncertainty

U.K. stocks traded lower Friday due to uncertainty about the Federal Reserve’s rate path. House prices in the U.K. rose for the third month in December but are expected to slump this year. The FTSE 100 was down 0.7% at 7,673, and shares in Revolution Bars Group slumped 23%. Meanwhile, gold producer Mining saw a 10% drop after removing CEO Sebastien de Montessus with immediate effect, while Clarkson, a shipping services provider, jumped nearly 8% after predicting full-year pre-tax earnings above market expectations.
