From Fortune Magazine:
The 75th Primetime Emmy Awards are set to air on Jan. 15 with Apple and ABC at the forefront, despite the unusual ceremony awarding shows from June 1, 2022, to May 31, 2023. ABC’s “Abbott Elementary” is up for another win after breaking an 8 year streak in 2022.
The awards will be held at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT. Fox will host and a variety of streaming services will offer the events coverage. This includes Disney+, Hulu with Live TV, YouTube TV, Sling, DirecTV Stream, and Fubo TV, depending on which best suits your needs.
Black-ish star Anthony Anderson will act as host and E! will begin their Live From the Red Carpet at 5 p.m. ET, with People and EW starting the same coverage at 6 p.m. ET. The 2023 Writers Guild of America and Screen Actor Guild strikes delayed last year’s ceremony, while HBO still managed to top this year’s list of nominations.
Although the 2023 Emmy awards are happening this year, the 2024 Emmy Awards will air in September on an undetermined date.
