IVV, MSFT, AAPL, AMZN: Large Inflows Detected at ETF

IVV has shown a $2.9 billion dollar inflow with a 0.7% increase in outstanding units. The ETF’s largest components saw gains today, including Microsoft at 0.6%, Apple at 1.4%, and Amazon at 1.7%. IVV’s 52-week low was $382.37, with a high of $479.79 and last trade at $472.19.

ETFs are similar to stocks, but traded as units. We monitor weekly ETF data for inflows and outflows as a way of keeping track of any notable changes. Inflows usually come from the creation of new units, requiring the underlying holdings of the ETF to be purchased.
