JPMorgan CEO Jamie Dimon Says ‘Satashi’ May Erase Bitcoin Supply Limit, Backs ‘Tokenizing Things You Do Something With’

J.P. Morgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon made strong statements regarding Bitcoin during an interview in Davos, saying it will be the last time he talks about it. Dimon criticized Bitcoin for alleged illicit uses but expressed support for cryptocurrencies with real use cases, likening others to “the pet rock.” He also questioned the finality of Bitcoin’s supply limit.

Contrary to his criticism, Dimon also defended individuals’ right to use Bitcoin, but doubled down on his prediction that the government may have to shut it down if bad use cases aren’t resolved. He summed up his opinion with “I don’t care. So just please stop talking about this s–t.”
