The third edition of the annual Capgemini Research Institute report on consumer trends “What Matters to Today’s Consumer” reveals that the use of generative AI has increased among consumers for shopping, with over half already following product recommendations made by these tools. Consumers are seeking further reductions in the prices of essential products and are calling for more transparency and sustainability from retailers.
