Lithium Argentina Announces 2023 Production Results for

Lithium Americas (Argentina) Corp. reported that they exceeded their 2023 production guidance, producing approximately 6,000 tonnes of lithium carbonate at the Caucharí-Olaroz lithium brine operation in Argentina. The KCl plant is operational, and the lithium carbonate plant is currently at about 50% capacity. The company expects to report year-end financial results on March 21, 2024 after market close.

After achieving first lithium carbonate production in June 2023, the Caucharí-Olaroz project has continued to produce lithium carbonate, reaching a content of 99.5% with technical quality approaching battery quality. This exceeded the Company’s previous guidance of 5,000 tonnes. Lithium Argentina plans to release its fourth quarter and full year 2023 financial results on March 21, 2024, and host a conference call on March 22, 2024.

Lithium Argentina is partnering with Ganfeng Lithium Co, Ltd. to ramp up production of the Caucharí-Olaroz lithium brine operation in Argentina and develop additional lithium resources in the region.
