McCormick & Company, Incorporated projects 2024 earnings per share to be in the range of $2.76 to $2.81, with adjusted earnings per share expected to increase 4% to 6% or 5% to 7% in constant currency. Sales in 2024 are expected to range between a decline of 2% to flat compared to 2023, or a decline of 1% to an increase of 1% on a constant currency basis.

The company reported fourth quarter earnings of $219.3 million, up from $185.7 million the previous year, with earnings per share at $0.81 compared to $0.69. Adjusted earnings per share was $0.85 compared to $0.73, and adjusted operating income increased 11% in constant currency. Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.79 per share.

Fourth quarter sales increased 3% to $1.75 billion from the year-ago period, or 2% sales growth in constant currency.
