Microsoft Teams experienced a widespread outage on Friday, with over 14,599 reports of problems submitted by users. The outage was identified as a networking issue, and a failover was initiated to resolve the problem. While improvements were seen in the EMEA region, issues persisted in North and South America. The extent of the outage and number of affected users was not disclosed. Users took to social media to express their frustration with messages not being delivered and problems logging in. Microsoft shares ended Friday down 0.2% and are up 62.8% in the last 52 weeks.
