Noteworthy Wednesday Option Activity: FDX, TGT, AMZN

The S&P 500 index saw significant options trading volume in FedEx Corp (FDX) today, with 27,411 contracts traded, representing about 2.7 million underlying shares, or 80.1% of the average daily volume over the past month. High volume was seen for the $285 strike put option expiring January 19, 2024.

Target Corp (TGT) options also had considerable volume, with 27,639 contracts trading, representing about 2.8 million underlying shares, or 76.5% of the average daily volume over the past month. The $120 strike put option expiring February 16, 2024 had particularly high volume.

Amazon.com Inc (AMZN) saw options trading volume of 308,505 contracts, representing around 30.9 million underlying shares, or 65.7% of the average daily volume over the past month. Notably high volume was seen for the $155 strike call option expiring January 05, 2024.
