Samson Mow, CEO of Jan3, subtly criticized Ethereum (ETH) and its price valuation in comparison to Bitcoin (BTC) and the cryptocurrency market at large.

Mow called Ethereum the “stupid man’s Bitcoin” and devalued the platform in a post on social media. He raised questions about its potential compared to Bitcoin.

With Bitcoin’s market cap at $809,923,408,001 and the price at $41,344.01 versus Ethereum’s cap at $297,575,053,741 and the price at $2,476.66, the differences show Bitcoin’s superiority.

Despite Mow’s critique, Ethereum community members pointed out its key improvements, as Ethereum’s key fundamentals continue to be a potential factor in shifting capital from BTC to ETH.

Mow’s stance on Ethereum has raised questions about how he views other cryptocurrencies, such as XRP, but he did not give a definitive answer, indicating uncertainty on how he views other cryptocurrencies apart from Bitcoin.
