Adrian Wojnarowski and Shams Charania are the go-to sources for big NBA news. However, TNT broke the news on Tuesday night that the Milwaukee Bucks were hiring Glenn “Doc” Rivers as their next coach. This came after the team fired Adrian Griffin earlier in the day. Despite TNT’s announcement, CNN didn’t report the story on air or online. Shortly after, TNT retracted the news, stating that no deal had been agreed upon. As of now, it’s unclear if the Bucks and Rivers will reach an agreement. It seems that Woj and Shams still hold the monopoly on NBA transactions.
