Stellantis CEO says automaker won’t sell EVs at a loss

From CNBC:

Stellantis CEO Carlos Tavares has stated that the company will not sell electrified vehicles at a loss, unlike other automakers. The company is currently making money on its electrified vehicles and has plans to invest 50 billion euros in electrified vehicles and related technologies through 2030.

Tavares also announced that some of the forthcoming vehicles from Stellantis will be on the “STLA Large” platform, which will support the company’s next-generation models. This platform will underpin eight new vehicles, including all-electric models, and will be available in 400-volt and 800-volt battery-electric-vehicle architectures.
