The Supreme Court will decide whether Trump can be kept off the ballot for his efforts to overturn the 2020 election, inserting the court into the 2024 presidential campaign. They will hear Trump’s appeal of a case from Colorado in early February regarding a provision from the 14th Amendment. This is the first time the Amendment has been used to bar a presidential contender from the ballot. The issue is of national importance and has sparked much debate.
