T-Mobile (TMUS), SpaceX Team Up for Direct-to-Cell Services

T-Mobile has partnered with SpaceX to launch Starlink satellites with Direct-to-Cell services in the United States, eliminating mobile dead zones. The company has the lowest multi-server latency and seeks to extend coverage in remote locations with limited infrastructure. Starlink’s technology could connect half a million smartphones on T-Mobile’s network. T-Mobile’s 5G network covers 330 million people with plans for home broadband competition in underserved rural markets.
