From Nasdaq:

Tech stocks are on the rise with the XLK and XSD funds up 0.1% and 0.7% respectively. The Philadelphia Semiconductor index also saw an increase of 0.2%. Alibaba shares surged by 7.2% after reports that co-founders Jack Ma and Joe Tsai purchased millions worth of shares in Q4.

Good news for Microsoft as their Bing, Edge, and advertising services are to be exempt from the EU’s Digital Markets Act. This saw a 0.2% rise in Microsoft shares. Canadian Solar also surged by 14% following a $500 million investment commitment from BlackRock received by their subsidiary Recurrent Energy.
