These toy makers are well-positioned to handle Red Sea and Panama Canal disruptions

From Dow Jones & Company:

Houthi attacks on ships in the Red Sea and drought conditions impacting the Panama Canal have sparked concern about global supply chains. The attacks have disrupted cargo ship routes in the Suez Canal, comprising 12% of global trade. The detour around Cape of Good Hope adds 8 to 12 days on voyages from the Middle East or Southeast Asia to the Port of Rotterdam. This disruption caused a spike in freight rates and increased cancellations to 11.5%. Shipping companies such as Mattel, Hasbro, and Helen of Troy may be impacted by the spike in spot rates. Stock prices for Mattel and Hasbro are down 1% and 3.1%, respectively.
